Too Many Medications

“Probably given several different prescriptions to treat symptoms. Will be very sensitive to medications and anything else she puts in her body, so may have had adverse reactions.” When I was a child, my body internalized sensory overload through migraines, and my doctors prescribed migraine medications from an early age. These medicines made me nauseous or have out-of-body experiences. In college, I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia and prescribed a medicine that almost took my life. The stomach issues I faced were written off with ulcer medication. Even vicodin for my root canal gave me severe mood swings! I attempted to cut out the medicine by using vitamins and supplements, but those gave me stomach aches and had a negative psychological impact. Now, I choose to be medicine and vitamin free and get my health from a balanced diet and mindfulness.
