Isolated Friendships

“Will have a close friend or friends in school, but not once adulthood is reached.” Everyone seems to be similar, have similar interests, like similar types of conversation, and be on the same page. Except me. I changed friend groups every year in school, mostly because I was forced out. As an adult, I can say I truly have a few close friends, but my friendships are all isolated. I’m nowhere near being a part of a friend group, and I’m more comfortable with that.
