“Emotionally immature and emotionally sensitive.” My first thought upon discovering this trait is: Define immature. Even so, I can say that I am emotionally sensitive. However, I believe this is a defensive mechanism I built up as a result of being unable to read social cues. Whenever someone says something that I can’t read, I often automatically assume it to be a negative statement and react accordingly. I do this out of fear. After all, if I falsely read a statement as positive, then I could really end up bullied or hurt in the end.
