Hazy Days

Some days are hazy, especially after a big social event or long work week. I walk as though in a fog. Getting dressed is difficult, going out to run errands feels difficult. Back when I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia, the doctors called it fibro fog or chronic fatigue. What was it really? Overstimulation. Mutism. Executive functioning at an ultimate zero. My advice? If a diagnosis doesn’t fit or feel right, ask for a second opinion before stacking multiple diagnoses with multiple medicines. (This is not to say that multiple diagnoses are not a reality though, because that is a real and true experience! Even now, I still carry a handful.)
