Calming Down After Overstimulation

This is exactly how overstimulation feels inside my brain and my body. My number one overstimulator right now is schoolwork for my Master’s. When I’m like this, the only way to calm down is lights out. Or, put more plainly: 1) Shut down all electronics, lie in bed, and daydream; 2) Go for a long drive while listening to my favorite music; or 3) Talk to someone about my special interests for around a whole hour. Basically, I have to rewire in order to dive back into work.
