Meltdowns and Sleep

For me, meltdowns are often directly related to my level of sleepiness. If I’m just waking up or dreadfully beat, I’m more likely to overstimulate. As such, during the early morning and late night, I try to spend my time alone. Something else to be aware of is that while coffee can wake us up, it can also artificially increase anxiety levels, which can enhance sensitivity and also contribute to meltdowns.
